Sign of the Times Festival was conceived as an effort by a group of promoters and music lovers, to deliver first-class quality entertainment, from sensational recording artists, and at a great price!

We’re fans ourselves and want to see live music remain as accessible as possible to everyone, which is why we keep our prices as low as possible, for such brilliant line-ups!

After a fantastic first 3 years, Sign of the Times is back on 5th – 7th July over 3 brilliant days and will bring you a diverse range of legends from rock, indie, blues, new wave, folk-punk and more, and all across two big stages – one outdoors and a second stage in a huge big top.

As well as two stages of great music, there will be a number of licensed bars serving a great range of drinks, and food from all over the globe and we will be increasing the range of food and drink available in 2024

Parking is FREE and upon your arrival, our Stewards will direct you to the appropriate parking area. VIP Arena ticket-holders will have access to a separate parking area even closer to the event.

There’s a camping option in a picturesque setting, right next door to the music arena with Weekend Camping tickets offering you the chance to stay and party and not worry about how to get home at night! VIP camping will not be an option at Sign of The Times, instead we will be improving all aspects of our camping areas with the introduction of our ‘Pamper Station and Posh Loos’ pass which all campers will have the option to purchase passes for. Standard toilets and showers will still be available to all campers.

Improved Glamping will be available taken on board all feedback from 2023. Scroll down this page to the camping section for full details.

If you’ve never seen a great line up of legendary bands and artists like this – now’s your chance! It’s all here for you and join us for a unique live music event.

Certainly!  Sign of the Times is a family friendly event and children of all ages are welcome! Tickets are available for age groups 14-17 and 5-13. We will have activities outside of the music that children can enjoy each day!

Under 5’s are free and do not need a ticket. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible ticket-holding Adult aged 21+

We’re fans as much as you are and know the importance of the basics at these events.  For this reason, we’re making sure that not only do we have lots of toilets available at the event, but we will also have a fantastic team of cleaners to ensure that the toilets remain clean and stocked throughout the day.

Folding chairs, blankets, etc, can be brought into the event. There will be a huge open-air viewing area with great views of the stage and screens from all parts of the site. If using a folding chair we would respectfully ask that they are not located near the front of the stage for safety reasons as this is the area where people stand.

We ask that folding chairs, if used in the tent stage, are kept to the back of the tent and do not obstruct doorways and walkways. Unattended chairs will be removed by security.

There is no ATM facility on the festival site but all the bars will accept credit and debit cards, including contactless

Dogs, kept on leads at all time, are allowed into the festival and camp sites. Any dog fouling must be cleaned up and disposed of. For their welfare, we request that dogs are not exposed to long periods of loud music near the stage. We also request that weather conditions are taken into consideration when bringing dogs to the festival and remind customers that dogs should not be left unattended in vehicles during hot weather. Water points will be located throughout the arena & campsites to fill dog water bowls and keep them hydrated.

Using a tiered system, each standard ticket gets full event access, but those purchasing earlier will definitely get the best price. The initial Early Bird price will be THE cheapest ticket available at any time for Sign of the Times Festival and the Early Bird allocation will be strictly limited.

All Prices are subject to Booking Fee. As each allocation nears sell out, we will make announcements on social media and our web site, before the next allocation is released.

Due to strictly limited numbers for the 2024 festival, and the popularity of the event, we expect Sign of the Times to sell out well in advance.

Before the festival day, you can buy tickets from this website using a debit or credit card, such as VISA or MASTERCARD.  Tickets are emailed electronically to you immediately after your purchase, so please enter your email address accurately.

Tickets for Sign of the Times Festival will be released in tiers containing a pre-determined allocation of tickets.  When each tier, sells out, the following tier becomes available at a new price.  There will be announcements on the website and social media before each tier is due to sell out.

We can guarantee that the initial Early Bird price launched will be THE cheapest tickets available at any time for the Festival.

We expect Sign of the Times Festival to probably sell-out in advance (the event has a set capacity determined for safety reasons), but in the unlikely event that there are any non-camping tickets remaining (as we expect camping to sell out well in advance due to limited numbers), they would be available to purchase on the day at gate prices.

Children aged 5-13 and 14-17 qualify for tickets at a reduced price.

Children under 5 are free and do not require a ticket.

Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible ticket-holding adult aged 21+.

Tickets are automatically emailed electronically to you, two weeks before the event. If you can’t find your tickets please contact us on info@signofthetimesfestival.co.uk or using the Contact page, confirming the details of your ticket order (name and email address) and we will use these to find your booking.

The ultimate luxury festival experience, located in its own glamping village and includes access to the pamper station and posh loos and showers!

Your boutique glamping tent is a premium canvas 4m Bell Tent complete with carpeted floors, luxury deep-fill beds that sleep up to 4 people and fresh, comfy duvets and pillows.

With lighting indoor and outdoor, and access to 13-amp sockets available to keep your essentials charged over the weekend, (up to a maximum usage of 6 amps at any one time) this is festival life at its finest. Our glamping beds, whilst comfy, are floor level so please contact us if you have mobility issues that may require a raised bed.

Plenty of spare blankets will be available in to enjoy your outdoor seating area or to wrap up in your tent ready for the perfect night’s sleep.  Please note Glamping is an upgrade package for up to 4 persons (the price is in total, not per person) and each person must also have a valid Weekend Camping Ticket.

We want people to enjoy their time at the festival to the fullest, and that means great camping facilities, but we must balance this against safety requirements and good practice.  To that end, our advice on BBQs, Camping Stoves and Fires is set out below:

Open fires are permitted only in fireproof containers clearly raised from the ground (fire pits etc) and should only be used when supervised by persons sober and sensible.

BBQs are permitted only when clearly raised from the ground (fire pits etc) and should only be used when supervised by persons sober and sensible.

Camping Stoves are permitted, and we wholeheartedly encourage people to use either solid or liquid fuelled options which are not only much safer but more environmentally friendly too.

If you use a gas canister supplied stove (butane etc) please ensure that you bring only the minimum amount of gas required for your stay and both always use and store these items appropriately.

All fires / stoves must always be used an appropriate distance from any tents.  At least 1m is essential and over 2m for any form of open fire or BBQ.

Security will prevent any improper use of fires, BBQs or stoves and person who fail to follow these basic safety steps risk their items being seized and/or being ejected from the Festival.

Please enjoy, but do so sensibly and safely, thank you.

Camping pitches will be filled sequentially on arrival, so you will be directed to either tent camping, live in vehicle camping, disabled camping or Glamping by stewards, as you arrive.

All camp sites have toilets, showers, ELSAN waste disposal, drinking water supplies and 24/7 security.

For safety reasons, to avoid the risk of vehicles driving between occupied tents, and to allow safe driving lanes in between, the cars must be parked in a separate car park and cannot be parked next to tents. The car parks will be close by to the campsites

The Camping tickets are PER PERSON wishing to camp, and allow camping for the weekend  plus 3 days of music entry:

TENTS CAMPING for camping in a tent with a car included which must be parked separate to tents.

LIVE-IN VEHICLE CAMPING for camping in a motorhome, caravan or camper van.

If camping in a live-in vehicle you need to purchase a standard camping ticket, per person, PLUS an additional LIVE-IN VEHICLE PERMIT, per vehicle, if camping in a Motorhome, Camper or Caravan.

Camping tickets are for the full weekend only and the camp sites will open from 9am on Friday 5th July until 2pm on Monday 8th July 2024.  For no extra charge you can arrive on the Thursday evening (4th July 2024) any time between 5pm and 10pm to get pitched up and settled in early, ready for the weekend, at no extra cost to camping ticket-holders.

The camp sites are filled sequentially on arrival, so if you’d like to pitch up next to friends, please arrive together.

Tents and accompanying vehicles, for safety reasons, are in separate areas of each camp site to motorhomes and caravans. Campers are able to socialise with friends in any other areas of the camp site.

The average Live In Vehicle space is designated to be 8m x 7m, which is enough space to fit in a motorhome and awning, or a caravan, small awning and a car.  Please be aware there will not be room allocated for extended awnings, or additional tents etc around live in vehicles, to ensure there is adequate space for everyone.

-Within the tent camping area, our space is measured to assume that each person will bring twice the camping space required.  For example a group of 2 will bring a 4 man tent, a group of 6 will bring a 12 man tent etc.

Where possible, we will accommodate what we can, but if people bring a disproportionately large tent (i.e. 2 people with a 10 man tent) we may need to refuse this on the grounds that it could unfairly prevent someone else being able to access the campsite.  While a small gazebo shared between a few groups is fine, we also need to reserve the right not to allow large gazebos in addition to large tents for the same space related reasons.

Sign of The Times Festival welcomes disabled festival goers and takes all reasonable measures to assist with their attendance and enjoyment of the event. At the same time, the festival takes place in the open countryside and disabled guests should be aware that the main arena, car park and surrounding areas are, naturally, fairly uneven and may be difficult to navigate. Where possible when designing the site, we do so, so it utilises level, flat routes, to make the event as accessible as possible for wheelchair users.

There will also be a dedicated viewing area for wheelchair users to view the event, though it does have a capacity and will be first come first served to wheelchair users and their companions and we have disabled toilet facilities in the festival arena and in the disabled campsites. More information on disabled camping can be found under the Camping Section.

To obtain access to these facilities, you will need to contact our team via the Contact Page or email the team on info@signofthetimesfestival.co.uk to ask for an Accessibility Questionnaire which is used to help determine exactly which areas are needed to enhance your experience

If you have any other specific requirements, let us know via our Contact page and where at all possible, we’ll endeavour to help.

Access to facilities is subject to availability and not guaranteed. Anyone turning up on the day without making prior arrangements may not be able to access our facilities if they are full to capacity.

There are no specific concessions for disabled visitors, but any disabled customers who require the assistance of a carer to be able to fully access the festival should contact our team via our Contact Page or at info@signofthetimesfestival.co.uk who will explain how this process is managed and how to obtain a complimentary companion ticket.

There will be a Disabled Camping Section close to the music arena for ease of access, clearly signposted on the weekend and needs to be pre-booked and is subject to availability.

If you have mobility issues and require the Disabled Camping Area, closer to the music arena, please email us via our Contact Page or at info@signofthetimesfestival.co.uk to confirm your requirements and one of our team will be back in touch.

Each attendee can bring sealed bottle of water or soft drink up to 500ml.  Free drinking water points will be available throughout the festival, so you can bring an empty reusable plastic or aluminium bottle to the event for water refills. Due to licensing conditions, alcohol cannot be brought into the music arena. Anyone found trying to sneak alcohol into the festival will be denied entry.

Personal picnics are also permitted into the event, upon arrival, but no metal/glass utensils or cool boxes, for safety and security reasons. Further take away food cannot be brought in during the event.  We will have a wide choice of caterers who will be very reasonably priced. Any person with specific dietary requirements can inform us in advance and where suitable options aren’t available on site, we will give dispensation to bring suitable food to the event.

Please note, to allow time for security bag searches, we are operating a ‘no big bags policy’, so no large rucksacks or bags, are permitted. Only small rucksacks/bags with length/width dimensions approximately no larger than a piece of A4 paper, can be brought into the music arena.

Sign of the Times works with a national festival bar specialist, enabling us to offer very competitive drink prices.  We will be offering a good selection of lagers, ciders and beers (draught and bottled), alongside great real ales, cocktails, spirits, wines and a range of soft drinks.

There’ll be a huge main bar and specialist separate real ale, premium and can bars. The bars will open on Friday @ 3.00 pm and Saturday & Sunday @ 11.00 am and will close shortly before the music ends on each night.
